The latest from the Jade Fiend studio

I came across a very unique piece of jade in the market about a year ago and couldn’t resist buying it although I had no idea what I might be able to carve from it. I had it on my desk next to my computer for a while and would often glance at it. One day it suddenly came to me. I could see a squirrel hidden in the stone. I inked a design on to it and it didn’t take long for this cute little creature to emerged. I don’t often see the colours grey, white and caramel in the same small stone and it took a while to work out what to do with it. Very happy with the result. Learn more HERE
