A cute carving of a squirrel in a very unique three tone jade mined in the Kunlun mountain range near Qiemo. I don’t often see the colours grey, white and caramel in the same small piece of jade but when I came across this one in the market I immediately saw a squirrel in the stone. And interesting fact, police in South-eastern China have begun training squirrels to sniff out drugs because their small size and agility means they can reach places dogs cannot.
