Huge deposit of top quality black jade discovered

Geologists have identified a new source of top quality black nephrite in the hills of southern Xinjiang about 100 miles east of Qiemo in north west China. The Margou deposit, as it's being called, is a tight-grained stone that takes a high polish and might rival the black jades found in Cowell, Australia and Wyoming in the USA.
